Cummins NT855 crankshaft is a core transmission component engineered for NT855 series heavy-duty diesel engines, compatible with Shantui TY230 bulldozers, Yishan TY200 bulldozers, mining dump trucks and various stationary generator sets. As the central power-output shaft of the engine, it is integrally forged from high-strength alloy steel, followed by quenching and tempering treatment plus induction hardening on journal surfaces to reach a hardness of HRC55–60. It boasts outstanding fatigue resistance and wear resistance, capable of enduring bending and torsional stress generated during long-term high-load operation (torque range: 1420–1790 N·m), serving as an essential foundational part to sustain continuous and efficient equipment performance.
